Drugs are Addictive Bryan Formica Friday, September 14, 2007 Drugs are addictive because of the feelings they give you, because of the chemicals that build in your system, because the tollerance you build, because you just want that high.I have much persinal expierance with drug addiction, cocaine to be exact. Addiction is an illness in the mind, because when you are addicted, getting high is all that you can think of, even if you already are high, its chemical brainwash, substance hypnotisim, and its really difficult to break, and going at it alone is the worst feeling in the world. Drugs dont hook you because you like them that much, you will say its your choice all you want but it really isnt, because you cant help yourself, you cant stop the sick feeling inside you when you only want another line but cant have it. Have you ever been in a position where you need something imperative to your life, such as water, food, or sleep, but you just cant get it? Well not having a fix feels like that, so next time you find out that someone is addicted, dont think down on them, try and help them, cause speaking through persinal expeirance, they do, deep down inside, want and need that help, the addiction just blocks them from acknowledging that.... |
